Welcome to the Internet Made Country Club, our summer 25 drop. This collection combines vintage sportswear fits with modern streetwear styles, resulting in seasonal pieces that are both timeless and versatile.
The Country Club graphic tees are the first run of our new fabric from our brand new supplier - a big undertaking that’s been on the cards since last year. Moving factories is no easy feat, but it’s been a necessary step and worth all the challenges. After all, evolve or be extinct. Made in Portugal from a soft and heavy 300gsm cotton, these tees are an upgrade in every department, giving us scope for new washes, dyes and print techniques that you can expect to see in future drops. We’ve made them slightly more boxy due to the way the new fabric drapes, and have landed on a silhouette that you can expect to see across future seasons.
When thinking of timeless sportswear classics, there’s nothing more iconic than a track jacket. Ask anyone on the team and they’ll tell you that this piece has been in our heads since day one. The track jacket is a sportswear staple, and getting it right took time. We went through multiple rounds of sampling, changed the fabric entirely halfway through, and refined every detail before arriving at the final version. It’s the perfect fit for the Country Club drop, and worth every step it took to get right. Split piping across the shoulder and sleeves adds subtle movement to the slimmer silhouette, whilst the rings logo embroidery keeps the jacket clean and minimal for easy styling. We’ve been wearing our samples for months and they’re one of our favourite pieces to date.
Last summer we dropped our first mesh shorts, and this year we’re back with Mesh Shorts 2.0. We’ve sourced another new supplier to make these, and the combination of their expertise and our own changes to the style have produced our best pairs yet. Vintage sports shorts are cut a little shorter, so we’ve taken that style and adapted it to give them a more athletic feel than before. The fully lined inner is constructed from a different fabric to the outer, giving a smoother and more comfortable fit whilst retaining breathability. We’ve updated the branding with a premium print, reworked the rear pocket, updated the drawstrings, and most importantly added zips to the side pockets - a game changer that wasn’t possible the first time around. Whilst the Country Club tees feature a new graphic for summer, we also wanted to introduce a limited run of blank tees to showcase the upgrade with our new shape and fabric. Everyday tees are a wardrobe staple, and these blanks are perfect. Cut in our latest silhouette and made in Portugal, they’re pre-washed and designed to last. Limited numbers in both black and white, but we might make them a regular depending on your feedback.
Rounding out the drop is a limited edition piece, our Country Club Shirt. These have been embroidered in London with a country club landscape to create a uniquely detailed piece with a splash of colour. They're boxy, cropped, and come in a vintage white fabric which is ideal for dressing up or down your summer fits. We’ve only made 10 of these, so they’re a very exclusive piece of IM history.
